Dodge Journey R/T
This R/T debuted along with the rest of the Journey-line for the 2009 model year. Powering this tall wagon at first was a 3.5L V6 that made 235hp.
Available drive systems are front wheel drive and all wheel drive. This R/T was not very performance oriented, more luxury based, but its 0-60 time was respectable for a heavy wagon.
Almost destined to be dropped from the Dodge lineup, the Journey and its associated R/T trim got extensive updates to the interior and suspension for 2011. The lower front fascia also was revised to a better appearance. The new 3.6L Pentastar V6 found its way into the car this year as well. This engine makes 283 horsepower, getting it closer to a true performance vehicle.
